Features of CpVES

CpVES Webinterface has got four usergroups:

  • normal emailuser with emailaddress
  • normal emailuser with emailaddress and manage one or more domains (create users and forwardings)
  • superadmin: can create new domains
  • superadmin manager: can create new domains and new superadmins

Normal emailuser can manage:

  • change password
  • create/modify/delete autoresponder
  • create/modify/delete forward to an other address (with the option deliver local too)
  • create/modify/delete fetchmail feature (to get mails from other mailservers)
  • activate/deactivate Spamassassin
  • activate/deactivate Bogofilter
  • modify some options for Spamassassin:
    • Rewrite Subject
    • modify threshold of Spamassassin
  • activate/deactivate the option that Spam should be moved to another IMAP folder
  • activate/deactivate the option that Spam should deleted
  • activate/deactivate the option that Virus notifactions should be deleted automatically
  • activate/deactivate teh option that duplicate emails will be filtered

Normal emailuser with admin permissions:

  • could do the same like an normal emailuser
  • modify autoresponder from all users
  • modify forwarding from all users
  • modify spamasssassin from all users
  • create/modify/delete mailaddresses
  • create/modify/delete forwardings
  • create/modify/delete Catchall
  • create/modify/delete whitelisting for spamfilter

Superadmin:

  • create/motify/delete domains
  • en-/disable imap/pop3/webmail per domain
  • en-/disable spamassassin per domain
  • en-/disable bogofilter per domain
  • en-/disable fetchmail feature per domain
  • en-/disable spam delete feature per domain
  • en-/disable spam/ham learning feature per domain
  • en-/disable whitelist feature per domain

nice features of CpvES

Autoresponder (vacation)

  • sends no responder if incoming message is tagged as spam
  • sends no responder if incoming message is from postmaster or mailer daemon
  • configurable recipient list for autoresponder.
    • e.g. if an user has got one forward foo@… (goes to bar@…) and the mailaddress is bar@… an autorepsonder is only send if foo@… is in the valid recipient list, or this feature is disabled.
  • automatic disable fetaure
    • you can specify an date and time. after this date and time the autoresponder will be disabled automatically. (you don't need to disable it after your holiday manually)
  • you can configure how many autoresponders will be send back
  • X-Header disable feature: you can supply custom X-Heades to the autoresponder script. If these X-Headers are found in the mail, no autoresponder will be send back
